Downloads are managed in Downloads page where you can access, add, remove, search and control them. Select Downloads from Hamburger Menu to open the Downloads page.

Add a new download

There are several ways to download a file with Loadkit. You may add a download manually, using Integration Modules, Action Center or the in-app browser. Instruction on each method are available in Add a new download page.

Stop, Pause and Resume

Downloads may be paused or stopped at anytime and resumed later. If the download supports resuming, it will resume from where you have paused it, otherwise, it will start from beginning.

Note: In current version of Loadkit, you may lose up to 5 percent of downloaded data on a pause/resume. This is by design and may be improved in future releases.

Check resume support

Not all downloads support resuming. It depends on the server that you are downloading the file from. There are different ways to check if a download supports resume:

  • File Information section of the Confirm Download dialog, when you confirm the download
  • An arrow in left side of the download in list of downloads
  • Resume Support label in download page

Stop or Pause a download

In order to stop or pause a download:

  1. Select Downloads from Hamburger Menu to open the Downloads page
  2. Click on the download from list of downloads
  3. Click Stop button on the Getting_started#Command Bar

Note: If the download supports resuming, it will be resumed when you start it again. In this case the Stop button acts as a pause button.

Start or resume a download

In order to start or resume a download:

  1. Select Downloads from Hamburger Menu to open the Downloads page
  2. Click on the download from list of downloads
  3. Click Start button on the Getting_started#Command Bar

Note: If the download supports resuming, it will continue from where it is paused. In this case the Start button acts as a resume button.
